**A Tribute to Gloria O'Connell: Celebrating Over 35 Years of Dedication to Braintree Youth Cheer**

It is with deep respect and admiration that we announce the dedication of this, and future seasons, to Gloria O'Connell.  For more than 35 years as Cheer Coordinator, with unwavering commitment and exceptional leadership, leaving behind a legacy that has profoundly shaped the lives of countless young athletes in our community.

Gloria's journey with Braintree Youth Cheer began in the late 1980s, and her passion for cheerleading and youth development has been evident throughout her tenure. Under her guidance, the program flourished, fostering not only athletic prowess but also instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience in her cheerleaders.

Gloria's impact extends far beyond the field. She has been a mentor, a role model, and a source of inspiration for generations of young cheerleaders. Her dedication to nurturing talent and promoting a positive team culture has created an environment where children thrive, both as athletes and as individuals.

Although Gloria may no longer be with us in person, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her years of service and the indelible mark she has left on Braintree Youth Cheer. Her legacy will continue to inspire future generations, and she will always be regarded as a cherished member of our community.Which is why, with her passing, Braintree Youth Football and Cheer is honoring Gloria O’Connell by retiring the title of Cheer Coordinator.
